Team Letters:
We kicked off this year with sending letters to family and friends explaining what it is we do, what are goals are for the season, our schedule and how they can help us become more successful. This year, the generosity of our family and friends was amazing. We would like to thank all those who donated and helped us to have a successful fall season. Your donations help us to have a great coaching staff, travel around the country, compete against Division I teams and helped the Varsity Women secure a bid for next year at the Head of the Charles in Boston.
The Harp Alumni Event:
Thanks to all those who came out and supported the Varsity squads in our annual Harp Alumni Event. The racing was a success as well as the raffle, clothing sales and raising money for the Alan Kindler fund. It was great to see everyone’s family and friends come out on such a beautiful day to support a great team. Any day you race and get sunburn is a great day here in Milwaukee!
à Special shout out to our Novice squads for coming down and being essential in the fundraisers success and to Mike Thometz, without his support we would not be able to put on a great event for the team and our alumni.
Qdoba:
It was a great study break for students to come down to the Qdoba on campus and have a Mexican dinner in support of Marquette Crew. If you missed it, don’t worry there will be one in the Spring! Stay tuned for a date J
Coffee:
If you would like to help Marquette Crew raise money and help a great cause, please email and ask about our coffee fundraiser. $15 a bag, $5 will come directly to the team. For every bag sold, a meal will be provided for a child in a third world country thanks to Buena Vida Coffee. As always, email

Erging for the Eagles:
Marquette Rowing kicks of their big spring fundraiser with Erging for the Eagles. This year our charity is the Make-A-Wish foundation. We are working to Jonathon’s wish come true, a 13 year old boy from Milwaukee. He would like to meet the Green Bay Packers in the fall.
Please come out to the Bradley Center:
January 16 from 630-8 at all entrances.
February 25 from 430-6 at all entrances
April 16-17 outside the AMU for our 26 hour Row-A-Thon
Seton Hall Fundraiser:
The first part of our BIG fall fundraiser was a complete success. Working with Make-A-Wish to make Jonathon’s wish come true has really sparked something in our team. Everyone is very determined to help this 13-year-old boy with leukemia from Milwaukee meet the Packer’s in the fall. To help Marquette Crew continue to be the difference in Jonathon’s life, please email at
